"The Martina Rosquete Investigations" Series
Hmmmm... how do I explain this series?... Well, it is a detective series of sorts... Marti is an ex-vice cop on Miami Beach... She was injured in the line of duty and has never felt 100% again, so she leaves for the safety of her fellow officers... however, she manages to get herself involved in a few things here and there... I don't want to spoil too much for you until you have read the first book, Accidents Happen.
Marti is not without her "crew"... there's her younger sister, Katy; her mother, Abigail; her best friend, Jackie; and of course there's a man... Come on, all stories have "a man"... Eddie Garcia is also Marti's best friend, but he has benefits. They went through the academy together, worked in the same squad, and sometimes share more than a morning cup of coffee.
All these stories have their own little quirks and adventures... Everyone has QUITE a personality... and poor Marti has to deal with all of them. It's a real and funny twist to crime dramas. Of course, that's just my opinion... read the first book and discover for yourself if you want to be a "Martina Rosquete" fan... LOL.

OK... I was born in New York, but raised in Miami, Florida. I have loved to write since I was in high school, and have been doing it as a means to relax ever since. I've tried all sorts of genres, but enjoy writing mystery, suspense and crime more than the others. Everyone likes a little shock or twist; at least I do anyway. **I have a wonderful and smart twelve-year-old son, a precious ten month old son, and am happily re-married. I am the oldest of three sisters (Lyssa and Kristina are my life). They, as well as my mother, have stood behind me throughout my new career. My friends back me 110% too, I would be nothing without them by my side. I could never have made it to where I am without everyone in my corner, giving me the love and encouragement I need to continue doing what I love.
